The venerable co-axial 1PPS interface has only recently been standardised by the ITU (G.703). However it only transfers phase information at a very low rate. A ‘new’ interface is proposed that is 100% compliant with the existing Recommendation, but adds Time, Date, Frequency, improved accuracy and other features.
