Roel de Vries

Roel de Vries has over 12 years of experience in Time Synchronization in various industries. Currently he is a Business Developer for Fugro’s High Accuracy and Resilient Time service “AtomiChron”. He has worked on the latest IEEE C37.118.1 standard for time synchronized measurements in the power and energy industries. Also he was co-convener of the CIGRE working group on Time in Communication Networks, Protection and Control Applications. He holds a Master degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente, The Netherlands.
