Tariq I. Mondal is Vice President of Advanced Technology at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in Washington, DC. He is involved in innovation projects, strategic investments, NextGen TV system development, and NextGen TV audience measurement. He is an expert in wireless communications, signal processing, software development, and wireless geolocation.
Prior to joining NAB, Mondal worked at CommScope and Andrew Corporation in the Research and Development divisions. He led cross-functional teams, managed projects, developed wireless geolocation products, and managed patent portfolios. Prior to Andrew Corporation, Mondal worked at Hughes Network System designing wireless and satellite communication systems, developing wireless modem ASICs, implementing receiver algorithms in DSP, and developing embedded software for satellite receivers.
Mondal holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and an M.B.A. from Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland. He is the inventor/co-inventor of 20 PNT-focused patents.
